Nice start to the week issuing calculations and structural markup plans for a residential development comprising a mix of detached and semi-detached properties. Elements included steel beam design, masonry checks for walls outside of Approved document A, timber diaphragm wall design and a lintel design for a large opening bi-fold door.

Next project: design and detail of a steelwork mezzanine floor for installation in a former miners welfare club.
