New Software and Tech Upgrades

It’s been a while since our last update but rest assured we have been busy working with a range of clients, architects and builders on all manner of projects. These have included the usual single steel beam designs and calculations for steel and timber elements to residential extensions.

Most recently we have been undertaking more steelwork connection design for a handful of steelwork fabricators. This has included simple shear connections, moment connections, torsion connections and a selection of complex offset beam to column connections. To enable us to produce these more complex designs more efficiently we have invested in additional software. We are now equipped with TEDDS, S-Frame, Masterseries Connection Suite and IdeaStatica Connection Design Suite.

We have also upgraded to a sit/stand desk and multi-monitor setup with two new 27″ widescreen monitors! Faster, more efficient working on the way…
